Three Valley residents are facing drug and other charges following a traffic stop in Watsontown on Wednesday.
Watsontown Police stopped a vehicle along Ash Street in Watsontown at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday for a vehicle violation. The driver of the vehicle, 45-year old Robert Reynolds, of Milton, was taken in custody for driving under the influence, according to police.
A passenger in the vehicle, 29-year old Justin Young, of Montandon, was taken in custody on an outstanding warrant from Northumberland County.
During a search of the vehicle that included Watsontown Police K-9 Mariska, police reportedly found synthetic marijuana (Spice), heroin, methamphetamine, Oxycodone, morphine, Valium, Tramadol, amphetamine, and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.
The vehicle’s owner, Candace Young, 52, of Montandon, was also in the vehicle. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine, Oxycodone, morphine, Valium, Tramadol, amphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Justin Young is facing charges for possession of synthetic marijuana, heroin, and drug paraphernalia. Reynolds is being charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All criminal charges will be filed in District Judge Mike Diehl’s office in Milton.
